A Color & Sketch Challenge

Wednesday, April 15, 2009

Tax day today, do you have yours mailed in yet?? It’s on my list!? The accountant called last night and said it was ready, so I know I’ll be venturing out to the bank and the post office today.

Last night was my downline meeting with my girls and each month I give them a challenge and they have to come back the next month with their completed challenge.? Well last month I gave them all?a copy of the Splitcoast Sketch Challenges 1 – 220 and told them to pick a sketch, but I also had all the Stampin’ Up! colors in a container and told them to pick 3 – 4 colors and use those colors in their sketch.? Well some of the color combinations were not anything I would have picked if I was given the options but other’s were pretty good.? Mine were Okay.?

My colors I had to work with were Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, Certainly Celery and Tangerine Tango.? The Sketch I chose was SC40.

??

I think this was a fun challenge and a great way to think outside the box.? Give it a try and see how much fun you can have!
