Welcome to the Journey Blog Hoppers Make Amazing Blog hop!

I’m so happy to have you hoppin along!

If you have arrived from Kim Lamos’s blog, you’re on the right track! If Not, that’s ok too! Just continue the hop and you will come full circle!

I decided to pull out my Boo and Vampire Treat Dies and show you just how versatile these fun dies are to use.

When looking at my cute BOO ghost die I knew right away I wanted to make him into a journaling box on a scrapbook page. I pulled out a ruler and my Silver Marker and went to town drawing my Journaling lines. I also thought my little ghost paired well with the Fall Fest prints and used that as my focal point and drew my color inspiration and design from.

The “balloons” were created using various sizes of Oval punches. The Black Licorice Twist Twine was perfect to tie my balloons together and holding for my ghost.

The sentiment is from the Ghostly Treats stamp set.

I also love how the Oval Frame makes my little ghost look like they are framed like a picture.

The 2 Black Licorice pieces of card stock are just waiting for my little Sophia’s trick or treat photos. Two super cute scrapbook pages for Sophia’s Album.

I then wanted to show you how you could use the dies on a card front.

Here is my little Vampire peeking into the scene. I love this printed paper with my little Vampire; so spooky and dark. The printed paper is the other side of the Ghost I used on my scrapbook page. Love those double sided prints!

I folded his little Vampire Wings down so it looked like he is holding the sign “Happy Haunting”.

I gave my little Vampire a little sparkle with the Sparkle Silk and Turbo Teal Silk.

This card will fit inside our A6 envelopes.

Finally I wanted to create a slightly different treat holder using the dies.

My little Boo Ghost and Vampire hold a little Hershey candy bar perfectly.

I love the Wiggle Eyes to add a bit of character to my Halloween friends.

Here is a quick video on how to create the little box for your Hershey treat.

I hope you enjoyed my first Blog Hop Post!

Today is the Holiday Catalog Mini Blog Hop with a few of my girls “The Red Hot Stampers” and France and a few of her girls
“Inking with Frenchie”.

If you are already following the Blog Hop then you came to my site from Christi’s Blog. I know you have been seeing some pretty awesome stuff and I hope you will find my samples for you today just as nice and give you some great inspiration.

My samples feature a few different things from the Holiday Catalog:
Joyful Christmas stamp set
Gold Metallic Encore Pad
Gold Stampin’ Glitter
Extra-Large Gift Box
Gold Foil Sheets
Season of Style Designer Series Paper
Expressions Thinlits Dies

Here is my Joyful Christmas grouping:
Joyful Christmas Grouping 1

This first project is a Gift Card holder using our New Envelope Punch Board. This will be available to order on September 1st so look for a Video on Monday on how I made this gift card holder. For the Poinsettia on this gift card holder I used regular Cherry Cobbler card stock with the Gold Encore ink, Heat & Stick, and Gold Glitter. It sure is pretty and sparkly.

The Poinsettia is placed on top of a doily.

Here is the inside showing the gift card holder and the closure:

I embossed the sentiment in Gold Encore ink with Gold Embossing powder. I used a tiny strip of the Gold Foil on the front.

This beautiful Box is the Extra-Large Gift Box and is decorated with the Season of Style Designer Series Paper and the Gold Foil sheets. I used the Expressions Thinlits Die to create the “Merry” out of the coordinating DSP. I also stamped the poinsettia on the Season of Style DSP using the Gold Encore Ink, Heat & Stick and Gold Glitter.

You may notice on this picture that the White Organza Ribbon is crinkled; I did this using the heat tool.

On this card I stamped the poinsettia on vellum card stock using the Gold Encore Ink, Heat & Stick and Gold Glitter. Way Pretty!

I used the Petals a Plenty embossing folder on the white background.
