So yesterday I showed you the cards I created from the July Bloom Box Life’s Sweetness.

Well today I have the double page 12 x 12 Scrapbook pages that I created using that stamp set.

The Life’s Sweetness stamp set is a great set for those summer time strawberry picking, shortcake eating, and family fun times.

Aren’t these pages just the cutest? I can almost taste the delicious strawberries fresh picked just by looking at these pages.

Do you see the card from Thursday night’s Live Event in the corner on this page?

This card was my favorite and the inspiration for my pages. See how I took the card and created the scrapbook pages designed around the card.

I love the sentiment “Think Happy Be Happy”; those delicious strawberries make me happy!

The “Beach Treasures Bundle” is my featured stamp set for July. I love this set! It’s a great stamp set for those summer cards as well as those summer Beach Day scrapbook pages.

I’m waiting for my photos of Sophia at the Beach to put on the pages.

This photo of Sophia was my inspiration for the scrapbook pages.

She had so much fun at the Beach that day; chasing the Seagulls and playing in the sand.

I can’t wait to get the pictures and fill in the pages.

I still have some Kits for this month’s Option #2 Beach Treasures card kit if you would like one.

Make Amazing Happen Blog Hop

Welcome to the Journey Blog Hoppers Make Amazing Blog hop!

I’m so happy to have you hoppin along!

If you have arrived from Kim Lamos’s blog, you’re on the right track! If Not, that’s ok too! Just continue the hop and you will come full circle!

I decided to pull out my Boo and Vampire Treat Dies and show you just how versatile these fun dies are to use.

When looking at my cute BOO ghost die I knew right away I wanted to make him into a journaling box on a scrapbook page. I pulled out a ruler and my Silver Marker and went to town drawing my Journaling lines. I also thought my little ghost paired well with the Fall Fest prints and used that as my focal point and drew my color inspiration and design from.

The “balloons” were created using various sizes of Oval punches. The Black Licorice Twist Twine was perfect to tie my balloons together and holding for my ghost.

The sentiment is from the Ghostly Treats stamp set.

I also love how the Oval Frame makes my little ghost look like they are framed like a picture.

The 2 Black Licorice pieces of card stock are just waiting for my little Sophia’s trick or treat photos. Two super cute scrapbook pages for Sophia’s Album.

I then wanted to show you how you could use the dies on a card front.

Here is my little Vampire peeking into the scene. I love this printed paper with my little Vampire; so spooky and dark. The printed paper is the other side of the Ghost I used on my scrapbook page. Love those double sided prints!

I folded his little Vampire Wings down so it looked like he is holding the sign “Happy Haunting”.

I gave my little Vampire a little sparkle with the Sparkle Silk and Turbo Teal Silk.

This card will fit inside our A6 envelopes.

Finally I wanted to create a slightly different treat holder using the dies.

My little Boo Ghost and Vampire hold a little Hershey candy bar perfectly.

I love the Wiggle Eyes to add a bit of character to my Halloween friends.

Here is a quick video on how to create the little box for your Hershey treat.

I hope you enjoyed my first Blog Hop Post!

Progressive Scrapbook page

Thursday, August 26, 2010

First,?I am sorry but I didn’t get time to make the Wood Grain technique video yesterday, I’m hoping to get to it today.? I do however have a nice Progressive Scrapbook page for you just in time for Halloween.? :)? I had a workshop last night and the hostess requested Halloween projects.? We did a treat holder, a 6 X 6 scrapbook page and an invitation.?

Here is the 6 X 6 page that they made at the workshop:

I showed them how they could take this 6 X 6 page and up it to a 8 1/2 X 11 scrapbook page.? Here is that version:

I then showed them how they could take the 8 1/2 X 11 and up it to a 12 X 12 scrapbook page.? Here is that version:

The stamp set we used was the House of Haunts #111574 $22.95.? The card stock is Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive.? We also used the new bat punch #119279 $15.95.? The Designer Series Paper that we used was the Wicked Fun Specialty #117400 $11.95.? We used the White Gel pen on the Owl Eyes as well as on the bats.? I like this effect and makes them pop off the page.

Today is my daughter’s 19th birthday and we are spending the day together getting manicures, pedicures and then shopping for her dorm and college.? On Sunday we will be bringing her to Michigan State.? I’m going to try and get the video done, but if not I have the Halloween invitation and the treat holder to show you yet. 🙂

Have a Great Day!
