In case you were wondering where I’ve been I thought I would show you.

My husband and I flew to California to watch our middle son Neil graduate from the Marine Corps bootcamp. We also took Neil’s girlfriend Kim with us to watch him graduate.

This was taken on Family Day; which was the day before graduation.

This was also taken on Family Day; it was so nice to see him again after 3 month’s of being gone from home.

There’s my new Marine; so proud and happy he made it through.

He flew home with us Saturday night and will be home for 10 days before he leaves again.

When we arrived home Dean, our son-in-law and a couple of Neil’s friends were waiting for us at the airport with posters and signs.

My son-in-law went into my Stampin’ Up! room and found some Cherry Cobbler cardstock and stapled it to a foam board and then painted his welcome home greeting on it.

What a huge accomplishment for your son, Boot Camp for the Marines is very hard! You all should be proud of him and I just want to tell him “thank you” for choosing to serve his country.

Thanks Mary, We are very proud of Neil and so happy he made it through. He’s home for 10 days then back out to CA for combat training and then on to Texas for his intelligence training. We are happy and excited for his new journey ahead.
